The full-mission bridge simulator is certified by the classification society DNV, meeting its rigorous standards for marine simulators. This state-of-the-art training tool is used to prepare aspiring navigators and refine the skills of experienced mariners. Maritime pilots also utilize the simulator to improve their techniques, including coordinating tugboat and ship manoeuvres in collaboration with local maritime companies in Malta.
Beyond training, the simulator plays a critical role in research and development. It is used to study the navigational dynamics of Maltese ports and to conduct trial runs with large vessel models.
